I take Internet classes and am doing well. I recommend distance learning to anyone you wants an education and can manage a computer. There are many opportunities out there.

Hi Everyone! I just got engaged and will be getting married about 8-10 months from now. There is so much planning and organising to do, and I want a small but special wedding.
The internet is SO VAST, and I was wondering if anyone knows any sites that help plan out everything (some kinda journal or planner, for free). Something that will help me virtually prepare a check-list and mark them off as they are arranged. Any ideas? Also, any site that helps guide a bride-to-be on where to start!!

Yes, I love theknot too, but I need some help since I don't live in the US and I'm getting married in India, the traditional Indian way, and I have very scarce knowledge about the customs and traditions. Any suggestions?
I just got engaged, too, and we are getting married in August. Sounds like we have the same time frame! I have found theknot.com to be very helpful. They have checklists, contacts, beauty routines, everything! Also, articles on etiquette, maid-of-honor duties, etc. Plus… they have a wedding date countdown! Only 233 days until mine!
I think you would find just about everything you're looking for there.

We got married in LV last September and flew in from the UK, it’s the best way to do it and was easily the best day of my life We had 12 friends and family that came over and we thought the numbers were just about right. I would suggest you book it all separately much cheaper and you stay in control. We booked a house for the week before the wedding so we could have BBQ and have a base for everyone to meet and everyone else stayed at the MGM. If you book the hotels book them directly using a code this will save you a fortune, also unless you book a non refundable rate your deposit is fully refundable up to 48 hours before checkin. There are some nice chapels and there are some not so nice chapels I can not recommend strongly enough to only book a chapel that someone has personal experience of we got married in the Little Chapel of the West and it was lovely http://www.littlechurchlv.com/ we had done a lot of research we did not want to get married in a casino as we wanted to walk directly outside after the ceremony not in a hotel. As you will be there on vacation get married mid week its less busy and you will pay less for the reception etc.

Oh one more thing people will recommend a book called Neon Nuptials save your money we found it neither helpful nor actually well written
I will be getting married in Las Vegas this August, and we are starting our search for a great photographer. Has anyone been married there in the last two years or so? Can you recommend anyone? If you remember, it would be nice to know pricing and specifics as well (number of photographers, time taking pictures, amount of printed pictures in their package, etc.)
